Sixth Grade

Sixth Grade marks the magical end of the elementary school years. Students’ eyes are increasingly open to the world around them, and their hearts are open to being positive contributors to our sixth grade classrooms, Plainfield Elementary School, our community, and our world. Students explore Ancient Civilizations and how societies have developed and evolved throughout history. Earth Science is a major focus in sixth grade. Students explore the forces and patterns that shape our earth. We anticipate our week long camping trip to Alliance Redwoods as a culmination of not only our sixth grade year, but as an opportunity to truly witness our unique California geography.

We proudly send our students off to middle school at the end of our year, knowing that Plainfield has been a wonderful place for them to learn, grow, and discover the world around them.
